Small Steps BIG Wins Podcast with Sue Saller

Welcome to the Small Steps Big Wins podcast and today’s special guest is Zach Woods.  Zach is a former corporate middle manager turned real estate/small biz investor. He got sick of W-2 politics and wanted to focus on things that brought him true joy. Leveraging his property mgmt skills to renovate a triplex and double rents in 6 months, he shares his tactics and wins for accomplishing his goals. Now that he caught the cash flow bug, he wants to pass on his enthusiasm and encourage the 20-something crowd that you don’t have to be older to be financially free.

The big takeaways from Zach:

  • Take Action! – Make a list of 3 things each day and accomplish those.
  • Confront your fear head-on
  • Simplify your processes and don’t let emotions get in the way
  • At the end of the day, you are the one that has to take the action, no one can do it for you.
  • If you are stuck there is a way out
  • Surround yourself with the people who you want to become.

Welcome to the Small Steps Big Wins podcast where I’m dedicated to helping you take control of your life. I’m Sue Saller, and I’m excited to be your host on this journey. I’ll be bringing you inspiring stories, practical tips, and expert advice to help you overcome obstacles, set and achieve your goals, and live the life you’ve always wanted.

In today’s episode, we are going to look at the benefits of kindness not only to the receiver but the giver as well. I want to challenge your way of thinking  with a quote from a very good friend of mine. He was having a discussion with his wife about a small act of kindness that he did and she wondered why he even wasted his time to do that because it was probably insignificant to the receiver and didn’t seem like a big deal on the grand scheme of things. He responded to her with the following quote, “No good deed is so small to go undone.”

I talk about ways we can reprogram our minds to see even the smallest acts of kindness, how giving can actually improves our lives, and ways to look for opportunities to give. I’ll list some practical examples and let your imagination do the rest.

In this episode, I am going to challenge the way you think about your present actions and encourage you to do one thing right now, today, that will change your tomorrow. Together we will unpack the quote: “People undervalue the present moment to give future results.” You’ll learn how this idea can change your tomorrow and I’ll give practical steps for putting this into action.
